100% of the profit raised from this category would be donated to The National Kidney Foundation (NKF), which will be used to provide subsidised dialysis treatment and holistic care for kidney failure patients.

Our why...

It all started from the diabetic grandma of one of the co-founders. His family is blessed enough to be able to afford her healthcare cost, but this may not apply to everyone.
We want to raise money to offset the cost of dialysis for those with less means, one sugar-free scoop at a time.

Fund-raising details

We have found a SFA-licensed premise, whose owner is waiving the rental and electricity for the production. After deducting the cost of ingredients, 100% of the profit would be donated to National Kidney Foundation (NKF).

The fund-raising would be available as pre-order until 22nd Nov with 2 collection points: TheBrewTherapy @ The Arts House (Sun, 10th Nov) and The Social Space @ Duo Galleria (Sat, 23rd Nov). Alternatively, you can email to sugarfree@unsugar.sg to indicate your orders.

World Diabetes Day '24

World Diabetes Day (WDD) is the world’s largest diabetes awareness campaign reaching a global audience of over 1 billion people in over 160 countries. It is marked every year on 14 November, the birthday of Sir Frederick Banting, who co-discovered insulin along with Charles Best in 1922.

WDD was created in 1991 by International Diabetes Federation (IDF) and the World Health Organization and became an official United Nations Day in 2006 with the passage of United Nations Resolution 61/225.
